ISDIMMA  (Means Icefog in english and stands for the fog that can apear in the artic when the temperature drops below 20 degrees celsius.)

is a Siberian Husky team located in Nykvarn outside Stockholm. The humans behind this life-long project are Richard, Ingela and our kids Hugo and Nova.

We think that owning a Siberian Husky is much more then to go to shows, compete in races etc. We have been coloured by this breed and feel it like we live in a Siberian Husky enviroment. We find it very important to care for the dogs and "kennel" is not a fair word for what we are doing. Our vision is to always put the dogs first and never submit to that rule.

History

I (Richard) have had plans or visions to get my own team of pure breed Siberian Huskys for a long time. The thing was that Ingela always been afraid of dogs so it´s been a strive to make her realize that dogs are not dangerous :) . Our former neighbour, owner of a swedish sporting dog which he use to hunt with, helped me in my plans to introduce Ingela to the world of dogs. Nero was his name and he will forever be a great friend of mine! After some barbeques (quite frequently) at the neigbours terrace Nero and Ingela became really close friends. So I thought that it would be proper to hammer the iron while the ember still glowed :). I leaded Ingela home and googled through some pics of puppy Sibes to show her, you can count out the development after that :) One year later we got our first Siberian Husky, Rittak, in july -07.

We have high demands on studmales and/or when we litterplanning. We focus on lines like North Wapiti, Anadyr and the nordic Vargevass and Nymånen. Why? Because we find them most appealing and prefer their temperament. A Siberian Husky shall be easy to socialize and equipped with the right characteristics. Thats important in a long term of breeding and one has to have plans for long time we think. We breed to have dogs for ourselves, therefor it´s always carefully planned and with a big strategy in it. We might have puppies for sale to approved homes! We select puppybuyers carefully and that´s because of the importance that our dogs end up at right homes, both for the puppy-buyers sake and ours and ofcourse the dogs! 

Richard- Born 1975 in Boden. Moved to Stockholm -94! Working as Food and Beverage /environmental manager at Vidbynäs Slott 7 minutes from the home. Interests beside mushing and SH are NFL and Dallas Cowboys in that mather. He follows the seasons unyielding, and waits for his first ticket to Texas Stadium to see his favourite team! Nature and mountains always have attract Richard and he plans to take the dogs for some really long trips in the Swedish alps.

Ingela- Born in 1976. Beside her deep interest in gardening and flowers Ingela has found something really amazing in Siberian Husky. For every day that goes she goes deeper and deeper in to the world of Siberians and she loves this breed unlimited. The development is quite funny; from beeing afraid of dogs in only two years ago until today, when you find her seewing collars and other things for our dogs and she really shines up when a dog enters the front door or when ahe is handling the dogs in general. Ingela have also become very interesting in the breeding part of the sport and she cant wait to see our first litter be born :)
